Firefighters continue training (January 23, 2004)

Although volunteer firefighters undergo the same rigorous basic training as our paid counterparts, we never stop learning and expanding our knowledge to remain professionals in public safety. Several members have recently completed specialized and advanced training to better protect and serve our residents.

Many of those listed below have already taken more advanced training in specialized areas, and have chosen to refresh or improve their skills, while others have chosen to begin to advance their learning. As in any profession, constant education is essential to maintain and advance knowledge. Following is a summary of some of the training taken over the past year.
