SMFPA participates in County 9/11 Memorial
(September 10, 2006) Schooley's Mountain Fire again took part in the
Morris County Service held at the monument on West Hanover Avenue. We
were honored again to provide the bell from our engine that tolled for

Fire Company introduces new patch
(July 17, 2006) The fire company has unveiled a new patch design to use
as both a logo and to compliment uniforms and fire company apparel.

Apparatus win awards
(July 5, 2006) Three of Schooleys Mountain's apparatus were recognized
for their top-notch condition when entered into judging at recent
events. The aerial won the 2nd best appearing ladder in the Hackettstown
Fire 105th Anniversary parade, and Engine 3-2 won the 2nd best appearing
pumper over 15 years old at the Budd Lake Fire 75th Anniversary. The
command vehicle also won a 2nd place award at this event. Thanks to
members efforts in ongoing maintenance and cleaning, their hard work has
been recognized by their peers.

Firefighters attend specialized training

attend training at Texas A&M Fire School on flammable liquid
firefighting.
