The Schooley's Mountain Fire
Company houses 5 pieces of equipment. All are painted red with a unique yellow
mask. Despite lengthy investigation, the history of this color scheme remains
the subject of speculation. While suggested for safety reasons, the actual
origin remains subject to local lore.
