Mutual Aid Suppression Task Force (March 14, 2010)
An engine from Schooley's Mountain Fire was assigned to a Morris County fire suppression task force in Lincoln Park following extensive flooding in that community. Local resources were stretched handling evacuations, so teams from other departments were assembled by the county fire coordinator to cover fire calls for eight hour periods. Engine 3-1 and its 6 person crew responded to several calls during their 10 PM to 8 AM shift with members of other area departments.
